Created using a hand-coloured etching from the 1880s called The Bower of Roses, it depicts a woman who has drifted into sleep where roses climb and spill overhead. An open book of poetry rests with her. Around her, ribbons flutter from a pair of delicate ballet slippers, and a family of rabbits from an antique lithograph watch over her slumber. The trim is edged with painted roses circa 1800. Rendered in lush tones of chartreuse and deep teal, with bright pink roses scattered like dreams.
100% viscose (derived from plant fibres such as wood and bamboo). Machine wash gentle or handwash and hang to dry.
